Auteur, compositeur, interprète, Stephanie Farhat est née a Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, d’un père libanais et d’une mère française. Elle fit ses études en Cote -d’Ivoire, en France et à Miami aux Etats-Unis. Très tôt, elle découvrit sa passion pour la Musique et les Arts en général, mais la vie l’emmena sur d’autres chemins.
Après ses études, elle travailla dans le domaine de la Publicité et du Marketing pour diverses grandes entreprises de Côte-D'ivoire. Puis, en 2001, elle rencontra Alain Sawaya et fut reconquise par sa passion première: la Musique. Ils commencèrent alors une collaboration franche et fructueuse.
En 2005, elle signa un contrat avec la multinationale EM et toujours sous la houlette d’Alain Sawaya, enregistra au Liban son premier album « Into the Circle », dont le fameux « Boom Boom Beat » qui connut un succès certain un peu partout au Moyen-Orient et qui traversa même les frontières Elle écrivit également 5 des titres du fameux album “VIRUS” d’Alain Sawaya Depuis, elle enchaîne diverses collaborations (Walid Toufik, Samer Gabro, Alain Sawaya, Sami Kateb, Lamice, etc…) et multiplie les voyages, les contacts et les expériences musicales dans sa quête d’un style qu’elle veut différent.
PROJECT :”ECLECTIC” un nouvel album en cours Stéphanie continue sa quête d’un style musical qu’elle souhaite différent et en harmonie avec elle même : ses origines, ses expériences, sa sensibilité artistique…
Toujours avec le compositeur/ arrangeur Alain Sawaya, elle est en préparation de son nouvel album : ECLECTIC 15 nouvelles chansons, en francais et en anglais, aux Couleurs électro pop/Rock comprenant différentes fusions tel que le blues ou le celtique De plus en plus de collaborations musicales de tous genres lui sont proposées. Une passion toujours plus grande pour la musique a laquelle elle n’est pas prête de renoncer.
Author and performer, Stephanie Farhat was born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, from a Lebanese father and a French mother . She did her studies in Abidjan, France then in Miami – USA. Very early, Stephanie discovered her passion for music and arts, but life took her on other roads. She started working with local Ivorian advertising companies and became an advertising manager. Then, she met Alain Sawaya and they decided to collaborate on many projects. Together, they launched the famous song “Terre D’ivoire” which became a hit in the entire African continent since it handled the social and political problems in Ivory Coast In 2005, she started working with Alain Sawaya and Boudy Naoum on her first album “Into the Circle”. She wrote all her songs. “Boom Boom Beat”, her first single and Video Clip, was a success in the entire region, applauded by lots of fans. Then she signed a License Agreement with EMI Arabia for the launching of her first album . As an Author, Stephanie also wrote 5 tracks from Alain Sawaya’s Album “Virus”, collaborates with several talented artists ( Walid Toufik, Samer Gabro, Sami kateb, Lamice.. ) and have more and more collaboration proposals. Stephanie is constantly searching for some new musical experiences that she wants in harmony with herself : her roots, her background, her artistic sensibility… PROJECT :”ECLECTIC” A NEW ALBUM COMING SOON A mixture of different musical sources. In her search, Stéphanie Farhat wanted something different, in harmony with herself: her roots, her background, her artistic sensibility… Always with the composer /arranger Alain Sawaya, she is in the making of her new Album “ ECLECTIC” . 15 new songs in English & in French with Pop rock influences and different fusions such as Blues, Folk or Electro etc... More and more musical collaborations are offered to her. A passion for music still growing and growing…
